Archai Diagnostics is a healthcare technology company specialising in diagnostic workflows with a strong focus on radiology and DICOM-based systems.
The goal of this project was to design a logo that could clearly represent the brand’s purpose while remaining adaptable across digital applications, documentation, and future products.
The visual direction aimed to reflect concepts of origins, precision, and trust, aligning with the meaning of “Archai” as fundamental principles or beginnings.
Project Brief
Archai (singular: arche) signifies "origins," "principles," or "fundamental elements" in ancient Greek.
This aligns well with diagnostics, which seeks to uncover the root causes of health issues or problems.

Moodboard
The moodboard was used to explore and define the visual tone of the Archai Diagnostics brand.
It focused on identifying references that conveyed clarity, structure, and professionalism, while maintaining a sense of modernity and technical precision appropriate for the healthcare and radiology sector.


Colour Scheme
The colour palette was derived from the moodboard to reflect trust, clarity, and clinical precision, while maintaining a sense of depth and sophistication.
Muted, confident tones were selected to align with the healthcare and radiology context, ensuring the brand feels reliable, professional, and calm.
Accent colours were used sparingly to support hierarchy and focus, reinforcing key elements without overwhelming the interface.
Golden Spiral & Symbolism
The logo construction follows the Golden Spiral, chosen for its naturally harmonious and visually pleasing proportions. This approach reinforces balance, precision, and order. Values that closely align with diagnostic accuracy and medical expertise.
In addition, specific numerical relationships were intentionally considered, drawing inspiration from symbolic number sequences often associated with alignment and new beginnings.

Responsive & Theme Variations
To ensure consistency and flexibility across platforms, the design was developed for both desktop and mobile environments, adapting seamlessly to different screen sizes and use cases.
Additionally, light and dark mode variations were designed to enhance usability in clinical and professional settings, supporting accessibility, visual comfort, and modern system preferences while preserving brand integrity across all contexts.
